Adventure Week Beach Activities

Adventure Week day One

One of the highlights for my first day of Adventure week was doing the lily pad challenge where we had to work as a team to get across the ferocious sea. we also had fun with an amazing race through the museum finding facts and information. We have enjoy playing games together, eating together and doing furniture Olympics and other challenges together. This week is about being together and working as a team!

Creating our class Treaty

We worked together in pairs to list down what we thought needed to be included in our class Treaty. We then sorted everyones ideas out into four categories of ideas that went together. Using these we formed our four class Treaty rules - Be the responsible kind Be the respectful kind Be the learning kind Be the co operative kind

Co Operative Learning in Ruma Tahi!

In the first few weeks of this term we have been learning how to work together and communicate effectively with each other. During this task we had to try to build the same K-Nex design as our buddy but we couldn't see them so we used messengers to give instructions. We had to be active listeners and work together to get the same design.

Creating another Avatar

I visited some of the different blogs today from the Blogger Challenge. They are just amazing! Our mentor for the blog challenge is tasteach. I followed the link and clicked on the link "My Web Page"
I really liked the avatar that tasteach had. I created an avatar thru Otaku Avatar Maker. Have a go at creating one. Once you have created your avatar, don't forget to Prnt Scrn then paste into Paint. Crop it then save as a JPEG. Upload it as your blogger profile.
