Welcome to Week 9!
Dear Parents/Caregivers and Whanau
The term is zooming by! The children have been working hard in class and this week, they created some really neat projects with Mrs Torrie and Room 2. Some of the children even emailed them to me which was really special. We head to our own library on Tuesday but children can return and renew their books at different times throughout the day, before school and at lunch times.
Their gotcha container is so close now and there is growing excitement about their privilege day which will be coming up.
Next week, on Monday and Tuesday - we will be having our Art Days for the term. I cannot wait to see what the children create!
Have a great week and remember you can always contact me via email at kellie@awapuni.school.nz
Yours in learning

Dear Parents/Caregivers and Whanau.
Just a quick reminder that we have our Pool Visit tomorrow and will be leaving school at quarter to 12, ready to begin at 12:30. We will be back at school, just before 3:00.
Hopefully the weather will be sunny for us tomorrow. The Senior Triathlon is on Thursday, this week - from 9-12:30. Your child will need to bring a drink to school.
The canteen is closed until further notice but you will be notified when it is open again.
Yours sincerely
Mrs Mackey.
